# Expert Hints:

01 -
  • The combination of fresh herbs and garlic creates this incredible aroma that fills your entire house
  • Its surprisingly forgiving for bread beginners, plus the homemade taste beats anything from a store bakery
02 -
  • Dough rises best in a draft-free spot, so avoid putting it near open windows or directly on cold countertops
  • The hollow tap test is more reliable than checking internal temperature for bread, so trust your ears over your thermometer
03 -
  • Room temperature ingredients blend better, so set your butter out about an hour before starting
  • Use a sharp serrated knife with a gentle sawing motion to avoid squishing your beautiful loaf
